We are looking forward on this years FOCUS on the filmmaker Sara Fattahi. We screen her films Coma (2015) and then Chaos (2018). Sara Fattahi will accompany us this evening and give insights in conversation with Dennis Vetter.

Sara Fattahi, born in Damascus/Syria in 1983, has been living and working in Vienna since 2015. She made her first short film, 27 METERS, in 2013, followed two years later by her feature-length debut COMA, which was awarded best debut at Visions du Réel Film Festival Nyon and won the FIPRESCI Award at the Viennale. CHAOS, the thematically related film that followed, also received numerous awards, including the Boccalino Award for best director at the Locarno Film Festival and the Diagonale Award for best Austrian feature film.
